The steering wheel always returns to the lowermost position when the car is turned on, despite the way I leave it in. I've tried almost everything, including saving the correct setting to all three memory positions, but nothing seems to do the trick. Any suggestions? Is there any way to completely reset/erase the memory?. TIA.

Try pushing the tiny button next to the wheel directional toggle, it turns it off.
