Default Ronal Rims and Tires
Could someone explain to me why the Ronal wheel and tire package is so much less expensive than other rims and tire packages I am looking at? I do not know much about rims at this time. I would like to get a set of 17'' rims and tires for just summer use. I want a decent set but also do not want to pay an arm and leg. I called Ronal twice and Lm but have not had a response back. I was looking at the 5 lug LV's with the 235/45/17 Pirelli Tires ($1098.00).

Default It's not a quality issue. Ronal is good stuff. They literally make the wheels for Audi.
I was just cleaning my OEM 16" wheels this weekend and saw the Ronal logo on the inside.

Manufacturers may not pick the lightest wheel for OEM use, but they pick a wheel that is strong and unlikely to create problems.

I do not know who made my forged/polished 17"s. Ronal makes some of the wheels for Audi.

Nope-my 16" wheels that came with the car are clearly marked Ronal on the inside.
