S6 Spring rates ?
Anyone know what the spring rates are for the front and rears ?
I want to get rid of more understeer and I already have the H-sports on the firmest setting.
Around Sacramento, 2Bennett Auto makes various different spring rates and I'm curious what the stock settings are now to get an idea what rate to get next.
I've read that you firm up the rears first.
Thoughts ?

Re: S6 Spring rates ?
I'll guess 425/300, with the rear the softer one, that may be a bit low, and aftermarket stuff starts about 30% stiffer. The softer coilovers are 500/600, with the rear the stiffer one (to cut down on understeer) and I've seen Stasis kits at 900/1000. Of course strut valving has a lot to do with how stiff these springs actually feel. You'll find that there are a lot of opinions out there.

HR races were hell for me on 80 Blue going Dwntwn there, but as long as you were on the 80 Bus, it was ok. You would need to lower them and then adjust the ties, (possibly reset your control arms), and get some hotchkiss sways, Oh, and with the sways, you would want to adjust camber on the rear to help with the overall balance. HR streets might adjust the ride quality. Also try to go with a better tire compound for turn-in. THat is what you can do with a big bomber like the A6!(bitterman)..geesh..
