S6'ers-Do you use your steering wheel shift paddles?
I lurk more than I post but am wondering if others consistently use the S6 shift paddles. I am attempting to refine my shift technique but may give up in favor of the easy "S" shift method.

Always....keeps the car ready and responsive...
sets it up for turns, keeps rev's where they should be.
Just don't down shift when it's unnecessary like stop signs, and it's a whole different car.

Re: sorry-I guess I meant buttons...
...and the trans reprogram would probably help to optimize my usage. It seems peculiar that the stock configuration requires one to engage the tip first in order to utilize the buttons.

I use the buttons...
...a little since Vagging the transmission code to make them active in D and S.
Not very often, but when on a long downgrade to avoid heating the brakes, for instance.
I found that using them to downshift to pass can be dangerous. I downshifted, started passing, but it then hit the rev limiter, and it would not upshift to continue accellerating. Is this normal?
I'm glad to have the wheel with the audio controls and not the paddles.
