Secoundary air valve right side underneath front
my 01 2.7T A6 has a buzzing noise when warm, at part throttle
i can change the pitch with the throttle.
dealer said it's normal
i say it louder then everthing else
EXEPT THE BOSE
anybody have this problem?

There is a light buzz with mine...
Not loud at all. it also quits after a few minutes. If it's the emissions part it is a Secondary Air Pump. It should not be on when the car is warm.

if you're looking in the manual: section 26 under exhaust ~
although sometimes (like for my 2.8) they put some of the parts under section 24 for fuel injection. generally expect the Germans to be more pedantic than that... anyway
there are 2 things they call 'valves': a vacuum control solenoid 'valve' thats on top of the engine (under the covers that is, maybe under the Y pipe on 2.7T?) and then the actual air valves on each bank that let air into the exhaust - they call those a 'Combination Valve'.
