Silver car owners. . . Opinions on matching paint
I need to have some dents and dings removed as well as have an RS6 bumper and sideskirts painted.
I really don't think it's worth it to paint the whole car if I can get a decent paint match.
Opinions?
BTW, I already did the Dent Wizard route. Thus, the real need for real bodywork.

silver sucks to match, and really shows imperfections in paintwork...
...but if you are having just bumpers and RS6 lowers painted, I would not worry too much about the match. Bumpers typically look a bit off anyway. The RS6 lowers have enough changes in angles that a slight mismatch should nto be a big issue.
When i had the RS6 lowers done, I had the whole passenger side painted (two panels were painted badly by the previous owner's body shop). But the RS6 lowers seem to match the driver side factory paint quite well...although fixing the passenger side mismatch I noticed a mismatch on the driver side as well (front fender). Oh well. I'll live with it.
