transmission seems like it starts out in second
i have a 1999 a6 quattro avant and most of the time it feels like is lacking power and itll start off in second gear. had the fluid topped off and it wasnt burnt. also the auo stick wont work some one said to change my TCM???? any ideas

dont know what CEL is and theres no check engine light on ill pull codes tomorrow and see. the wierd thing is it doesnt do it all the time. but no auto stick is all the time lol

You should scan the TCM with Vag-Com now called VCDS.

Yes it does ill shift threw the gears as u drive doesnt do it all the time just feels like its lacking
