wave or not wave?

wave or not wave?
Totally not a big deal, but do you wave to other a6 owners. Everytime i see one i feel the need to give the approval or fellow A6er hello. I guess it is just my jeep characteristics carrying through but, i have yet to find a fellow A6er that has waved back. THey look at me like as if flipped them the bird. I guess it is not that kind of following like a jeep, corvette, or motorcycle. Just thought i would see if any of you do this too.

I get the same...
they'll look at you with a blank stare. I've had 1 guy wave back...he's a college professior that had a 5000CSQ, then a C4 A6, then sold it for a 91 200 20v quattro.

I don't wave, but I give them a glance to see if they are also looking out for other A6s or Audis...
one guy that turned to look ended up being a fellow AWer (AudisForYou's 2.7T), another I saw too late (Asian in his B6 A4 with 19's in the WINTER!!!), and I know that others have spotted me bombing around on the roads, but we seldom wave.

DITTO here- In the Jeep -they get it- in the Audi- like I'm some nut.
I've gotten incredibly sublte so I don't feel like such a jerk- like I twitch my finger- barely lift it from the wheel- but upstate thats like a wild 2-handed outpouring of emotion!
