I have a 2004 audi a6 and the wipers do not work. The washer fluid sprays fine but thats all that happens. It was working sometimes but not often and now it doesnt work at all. I have switched the wiper stalk and nothing, i have now replaced the motor and nothing. What else should i be checking or what could cause this?

Check fuses and relay. Also get a VAG Com specific scan and see if it tells you anything.

it didnt last time. The wipers seem to try to centre themselves but the motor and intermitten wiper relay seems to pulse.

Start checking the wiring. Sounds like current is not getting to where it needs to be. Changing out parts is an expensive way to go unless you just happen to have them laying around. A wiring diagram and a Power Probe tool would be a lot of help. The Power Probe is a lot like a test light but also allows you to energize a circuit. This can track down a wiring problem fairly quickly.
