2006 A6 Avant key stuck in ignition
So I’m having an issue with key not releasing from ignition... I’ve read all forums posted & those techniques aren’t exactly helping. Watched all YouTube videos as well & nothing seems to help. Was able to access key release button & simultaneously hitting that & removing key @ same time worked. Tried fixing it so it would do it itself when putting into park & now I can’t get it out @ all.... any thoughts?

Sounds like the dreaded transponder issue. Search the forum for the work around. Audi’s official solution is to replace the entire steering column.
