Default 2010 A6 Avant QUestions

I miss my old C5 A6 4.2 and my current lease is just about up.

I am looking at a 2010 Avant with about 125,000 miles.

Maintenance seems to be pretty good with the de carbon service having been done abotu 10,000 miles ago.

Anything else I should be looking for ?

Additionally, can someone confirm if to 2010 A6 Avant has a factory installed backup camera ?

The trim level is supposed to be Premium Plus.

The 2010 A6 should have the 3.0T V6 engine, which was introduced in MY 2009. The early 3.0T V6s had an issue with the water pump, so you might want to check to see if that was R&R on this 2010 model. With Premium Plus trim level, that A6 should have the Advanced Parktronic system, which includes the rear backup camera and sensors.

i have a 2010 A6, but not the Avant. I have the Premium Plus trim level, but it did not come with a backup camera or APS. The Prestige trim level does come with the rear view camera. I did add a Audi backup camera to my car, and it works perfectly. It was moderately hard, but do-able.

Here is the original brochure for the 2010 Audi A6, it seems to cover both the Base and Avant (it has a picture of the Avant and has dimensions for Avant in it) interesting trivia, the base and the Avant are exactly the same length.

I have a 2009 A6 Avant with 150,000 miles, with APR Stage 1 at about 400hp. I had a radiator failure at about 110K, probably a bad thermostat (I understand this was an issue early with the 3.0T engine). Otherwise mine has been ultra reliable, a few very minor issues (bad LED running light, a TPMS monitoring error that turned out be fixed with a software patch). I had them change the AT fluid while they were doing the radiator- it's supposed to be lifetime but I got some input from the boards that it could go bad, and I decided it was (relatively) cheap insurance. It uses about a quart of oil every 12-1500 miles, which I understand is normal. Can't comment on the backup camera but i believe it can be added if needed. Overall the best car I've ever owned. I also have a 2009 A6 Avant with 109,000 miles and I can also attest to the oil burning issue. I add a liter about every 1,200 to 1,500 miles as well. Audi states this is normal and I really don't have a problem with it. Just keep an extra bottle or two in the car at all times for top-ups when the sensor comes on. Otherwise the car is a beast. I do have a strange mild vibration/rubbing/grinding noise that comes from the front end that I can't seem to diagnose. Three shops that specialize in VAG cars all tell me everything is fine, but I seem to think its a CV shaft issue.
