Default Aftermarket wheel offset and size question

Got an 08 A6 s-line with the factory 18x8 5 spokes wrapped in Blizzaks. I want to store those for winter use and get some Alzor 628 19x8.5 5 spokes with summer tires for the other half of the year. My first Audi so I'm not totally sure on how all of this works, but I've done a fair amount of research so far and just looking for opinions. I just redid the brakes with ceramics cause the brake dust was awful and I saw the stock wheels have an offset of et43. The wheels I'm looking at have two options of et45 and et35. My understanding puts me at et35 will stick out 8mm further whereas et45 will pull them inward 2mm as compared to the stock et43 offset.

So what do you guys think I'd be better off with? I would guess et45 because it will be close to stock so everything should be close, but with the wheel being a 1/2" wider throw anything off, even though it's more realistically 1/4" on each side. I can fit my fingers in between the wheel and suspension components so I don't think clearance would be an issue. The real selling point for me is that the et35 set is $600 and the et45 set is on sale for $450 right now. You think the et45 would be fine or would the et35 be better? Thanks for the input!

Both the +35 and +45 will work just fine for your car. You can always go with the +45 and then add spacers if you want a more aggressive stance later on. BTW, the assumptions you have are correct regarding offset and it's calc relative to your current setup.
