Audi a6 2008 tail lights

ground wire issue in A6 taillights
tried the additional ground wire screwed to base in right side. WORKED last 3 years so far.
Left side tried it..worked for a while.
Then sprayed electrical contact spray..worked for a while..
now trying the electrical silver paint on the male prong... a electrical computer technician told me about the poor contact.
Will let all know if it is a permanent or temporary fix.
