Default Bluetooth issue

Hello All...
Haven't visited in a while. Two things. 1st off I'm having an issue with my iPhone 4 loosing bluetooth connection with the MMI. Ill be in the middle of a call and suddenly get the on screen message about no telephone connection or whatever it says. The call I have to switch to speakerphone. Then sometimes moments later the phone will reacqiure the MMI. Smh. So idk if it's the phone or an MMI issue. Plus it only happens half the time. So has anyone else experienced this? The second thing is to ask a favor. I searched for the thread on swapping to the 09-10 facelifted sline bumper with a parts list but can't find it. A link would be appreciated. Thanks again.

My wife has just a normal phone (not a smart/media phone) and her's works great. Hope someone can shead some light.

What version of MMI in your car? If it's <4460, you need to upgrade firmware.

Recently started having the exact same issue with my iPhone 4 as well. I didn't change anything and have current mmi software. Very random and very annoying.

Your MMI firmware version 1070, you absolutely need to do an upgrade to at least 4610 version, 'cause after 4610 they fixed glitch with Bluetooth.

Guys, we've been having similar issues with iPhones in our 2006 A6 as well. It seems to drop calls all the time. Last week I deleted all saved BT settings in the MMI and on the iPhone 4. I re-paired the devices and we believe the connectivity has improved.

The problems all began when iOS5 was installed on the telephone.

This IS a stupid question but here goes anyway... How would I upgrade is that something that I can do over the air or would I need to take it in to have updated? Not sure what version I'm on but will check it out asap. This is my first week at this forum and I must say you're an awesome buch of folks. Thanks all

I have the same problem with an iPhone 4 in my car. I believe I'm on the 4460.
