A/C Problem
Hello everyone,
It's starting to get real hot out where I live, and a week ago when I went to turn on my AC the econ light stayed on, and no matter what I did it stayed on. The air was warm and wasn't ice cold as it was when I bought it. So on Saturday, I took my car in to get it diagnosed here are the results:

The guy said A/C system has no freon and that I should recharge and dye the system to check for leaks but the button can also be malfunctioning. Should cost me about $120 to $200.
Does this sound right or could it be a something else?
Thank You! I also got my entire car diagnosed and found other codes in other areas which I will be posting later.

The first fault code (stuck button) only happened once, on 20th April - did that coincide with you holding the button in while trying to switch off the econ light? Probably not an issue.
The second one im not sure of, but the smoking gun is the last fault code relating to the G395 sensor, which is a very common issue and does cause warm air issues, as when the G395 sensor fails, the car thinks there is no gas in the air con system and so doesn't operate the AC compressor. The fix is quite simple- buy a new G395 sensor, remove the front bumper (one side only) unscrew and remove old sensor (no need to de-gas AC system) and screw in the new sensor.
Search "G395" on this forum and you'll find plenty more good info. A sensor should cost under $50 and in my opinion should be changed before paying for more gas in your AC system, as you are likely to find the gas level is fine.

I also noticed tonight my radiator fans weren't spinning, is there a way to check them and/or is that somehow tied to the AC not working???
Thank You
PS: I have also recharged the system 2 weeks ago.
