Hello

VCDS is saying my can is faulty coded, which is true. I'm having issues with mmi features, such as few options are grayed out in the car menu, which are:

1) central locking
2) service interval
3) background lightning

All of them are actually on car and are working, but I'm not able to click or change them in mmi screen.

Afterall I'm not able to change the date and time (date and time are different on instruments and mmi screen, on mmi screen clock is stuck at 0:00).



Also changing temperature, fan speed, etc. in climate panel doesn't show up on mmi screen

Can anyone guide me to code ecu correctly (I assume it's all related to faulty code)?

​​​​​​I don't have any info what coding was before, cause car was bought on auction and don't have any history who and why has changed ecu codings.

Are those MMI or Green Screen issues? Maybe accessible in both, I do not know. Be careful with changing things.

Those are available from the green screen though it is harder to navigate than using VCDS, it kinda depends on how good your German is. You would normally need VCDS to enable the service menu (green screen) but I suspect that was done by a previous owner and then he/she went in and messed it up.

Yeah, you were right. It was enabled by previous owner.

It was helpful, and were accessable from green menu

Thanks to both of you guys for your help! It worked out for me.


Solution:
Went to green menu, diag settings > APK 0x0D, changed settings from BAP to CDEF (no idea what they means), but now are everything clickable under car menu
