As the title says, I bought a used A6 3.0 TDi from the local Mercedes dealership. I'm in MN and they said the car came from Colorado.

I love the way it looks and I had test driven a few others before buying this one. Over the last 4 days of driving it seems like the brakes "shudder" and the steering wheel seems to vibrate when I brake moderately. Something just seems "off". I called the dealership and I'm waiting for their reply.

This one also has the sport tires on it and I a wondering the hassle of putting winter tires on. Should I just buy a separate set of rims too to make it easier?

I had exactly the same problem after purchasing mine - it turned out to be simply the rotors. They were worn and I guess warped slightly. So I had them (along with the brake pads) replaced and it resolved the problem. I just wished I had realized these parts needed replacing before I purchased the car I could have gotten the seller to maybe reduce his asking price by a few hundred dollars!

Since I'm only five days out from purchase, I'm hoping they take car of it. They have a 30 day warranty but not sure if this is covered.

@rxbruner your issue is associated with warped rotors, which is an easy fix.

Also your vehicle is a C7 A6 and this is the C6 subforum. It's a good idea to post in the sub forum associated with your vehicle.
