Default License Plate LED bulb 10 watts ok?

I bought this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=300363570199

but i later realized after emailing the seller that his bulbs are 10 watts. on another thread on this site it said the replacement bulb should be 2watts. Will I damage my vehicle with this?

Thanks

look for the 'license plate LED light' thread. there is an ebay link in there for the ones that work. I think mine are only 2 watts, but then LEDs are brighter at lower wattage.

The factory bulb is 3 watts, if a 3 watt LED doesnt give you a lights out warning, you will be fine.
