Looking for driver side tail light
Guys,
Looking for driver side tail light for my 08 a6. I don't even need the housing, but the tail light itself. Once in awhile I get break out, turn signal out, error. I know some people upgraded their tail light and might have old ones lying around. Thanks.

I have an old one lying in my garage. When I bought my 08 A6 used last December it had a small layer of water that settled at the bottom of the tail light housing. As part of my purchase I made them replace it. The tail light does indeed work fine as it was just letting water in somewhere. I'm in Waukesha, WI. as an fyi.

It is an original OEM one and here's the part number: 4F5 945 095 M. I want to make sure the part you need would be within what I have.
Make me an offer in PM and we can go from there. Again everything works on it and I only made the dealer replace it because I could as part of me buying the car. Where are you located as well?

See this post from "Medic1" within this same forum. Notice he confirms that the LED strip is contained within the red lens items that I sent you the picture of.
"Last week, I began getting a hyper flash on my left turn signal and determined that the left LED strip was not working. When I took the light apart, I saw the problem right away. The rear lights separate into 2 pieces. There is a flat rear plate that holds all of the bulbs and the wiring, and the red lens section with the LEDs mounted inside. The positive and negative leads for the LEDs run to the top of 2 plastic posts molded into the red segment. These posts were splitting and the leads were falling out of place breaking the connection to the rear half. I glued the posts back together and reinforced them with aluminum duct tape. This repaired the light."
