Default My S6 pulls like an ANIMAL!

Now that the temps here in Vegas are starting to fall below 60 at night time, my S6 is really surprising me! I am stuck here with only 91 octane, so I can only imagine what the other guys with 93 in cooler climates are experiencing.

All I can say is this is how the car should be driving stock. In sport mode it is a bit scary at times how it runs through the fist gear. Still... nothing like what my modded E55 was.

Tell Me about it! I am in Toronto Canada, and it's been about 50 degrees and the car rips. I also just ported and polished the Throttle Bodies and Intake Y pipe, and picked up some noticable low/mid range punch as measured by the but Dyno. Will be going for an actual dyno this weekend. S6 Powaahh!

Nice! I remember you talking about it... Why didn't you tell us earlier! You should write some sort of a review. I would really like to hear your thoughts on this. How difficult was the process? How costly was it? Did the cost justify the outcome?

There is so little creative work done to our cars let alone the S6 that any input on custom performance work will be greatly appreciated. Whenever you got time buddy, just let us know. I will have this car for another 1.5 years or so, and I am looking to give it a bit more juice before I let her go.

Will do. I have to say. The internal casting of the IM is pretty darn smooth. I almost thought it was coated at first. The main problems were the transitions and casting flash where the halves joined together. There was also some step machining on the TB's that I cleaned up along with some knife edging. Spent about 5-6 hours in total ( with some tool related breaks-ie die grinder dying on me).I was going to do the whole intake manifold, but would have needed to take off the Rad, and didn't feel like doing that. There is definately more to be had. Especially since based on the film inside the IM, I bet we have carbon build up problems with this FSI motor too. I am sure cleaning up the intake ports would put some snap in it's step. Overall I am happy I did it. Also did the plugs at the same time. Think I might still have a bad coil or two I need to address. Will need to see what the VAGcom says if there is any misfires.
