I spend sometime to play around with the MMI after update. Everything seems working fine, there is one thing that I found that is not working anymore (at least on mine):

When receiving call, the Audi speaker no long ringing anymore. It only displays there is an incoming call..... I could not see any setting may related to that. Did anyone else experienced that?

For your reference, I am using the Motorola KRZR with Verizon.

No, i am pretty sure that mine still rings. But then again, i had the issue with my phone mic and SDS not working. But The dealer took care of that today. Mic and SDS a.k.a Voice Command are working properly.

I also have the KRZR from Verizon, and I was wondering if you had any increased functionality after the MMI update? Does the phonebook work or anything else that SHOULD work with Bluetooth? I am scheduled to get mine flashed next Wednesday on my 2005 4.2

Also I recall the same 'no ring' feature on the 2007 Q7 loaner I just returned.

I had that problem as well...then I turned the vibrate/silent off!

When I got my 07 I had a Moto V710 from Verizon and when I got an incoming call the Audi stereo "rang".

Then I switched phones to a Moto RAZR from Cingular and it no longer "rings" in the stereo but only on the phone.


I tried looking in the settings for the phone to see if there were ring prefs when connected via bluetooth but couldn't find any on either phone.

I just got the MMI update yesterday. My V3 Razr from Cingular works fine.
