Oil leak repair soon. Question for the forum
My 2008 a6 quattro with the 3.2 has a leak at the oil filter housing seal. I have ordered an intake gasket set, the housing seal, and the oil sender unit as I figured it would be prudent to replace it while the housing is out. Is there anything else I should have on hand during the repair? I am not doing personally. I have a mechanic that has worked on my vehicles for sometime now. He knows the Audi pretty well and said I could gather the parts necessary for the repair. I truly appreciate any help I could get from the forum members!

The upper intake will come out and for that you will have to disconnect the PCV valve at the back of it. And for better access to the oil filter housing, I removed the PCV valve. I installed a new one back with a new o-ring seal. So I'd suggest a replacement PCV valve and PCV valve o-ring seal.

Thanks for the input. Hopefully I can find one at a local parts store. The repair is being completed Friday. I did watch your video about a week ago. I always learn something when I watch the videos, thanks.
