Looking at purchasing an A6. My current A4 is running at 300+ HP and enjoy the spirited driving.
What performance mods have been made on the A6.
Exhaust
Removing cats or high flow cats
Cold air intake
Software upgrades

Anyone have exposure to these and were mods "worth" the change.

nothing. get a V8 to get close to that hp, otherwise consider S6.

I haven't been able to find anything except adding a turbo, big bucks and not really recommended, Audi spends a lot of money on tuning these cars and I would hate to add a turbo and mess things up.
I cam from owning Saabs and you can get a BSR upgrade to give an additiona 30HP and more torque.

I hope as the car evolves and more are available on he used market there will be demand for a computer upgrade.

Don't let that scare you though, the 3.2 is fun to drive and if you can get the sports suspension I think you'll like it.
