Pulling Emergency brake while driving. I tried it and...
It releases automatically if your moving. Does not even skid. Not sure what speed but I'm guessing that if your moving it automatically disengages. By the way I was only moving 15mph I think. I would assume it would happen at any speed. Just thought I would let everyone know.

I'm out of town, so can't quote the manual, but... if I recall somewhere below 9kph
the brake will engage fully. Above that speed, you have to lift up and hold the switch to slow the car using the emergency brake.
There is a caution regarding lack of antilock and all brakes engaging at the same rate, so rear lockup and skidding is likely at higher speeds.

Pulling the parking brake switch at speed is the same as using the pedal in a panic stop.

In a manual gearbox, lifting the clutch when stationary will automatically disengage the emergency brake if your seat belt is on. So I'd guessed that the brake would not engage whilst the car was in motion.
Begs the question then, why call it an emergency brake if you can't use it in an emergency? Surely it is now just a parking brake...
