I get in the car today, close the door, and the entire map light assembly falls in my lap. Granted it was hot out today (98F), but I would hope this car has a more robust fastening system for this part. I put it back together; its three separate parts (outer white/silver 'ring' inner, and inner white plastic) Before I put it back it I did study its fastening system, and sorry to say, its pretty pathetic for any car, let alone an audi. My old BMW 330Ci was at least torx screwed in there. I only have 1600 miles on the car and its already developing a few interior rattles, starting to get a little frustrated.

Mine had rattles too and they ended up replacing my glovebox, a rear trim piece, and insulating a couple of places with felt material. Now I have no rattles at all. They were very good about this at University Audi, Seattle.
