What would you choose?

On the highway our 3.2 gets 31 mpg . 4.2 gets ???? at 75 mph cruise.
We have long term (3500 mi) mileage at 25.6 city highway mix. On the other hand, If buying one for myself I'd get the V8 too. (In an RS4)
Also here is the only white one I have seen. Well optioned but front trac.

http://www.donohooauto.com/detail-2007-audi-a6-3_2-2768759.html</a

Thanks! Quattro for me please...
Thanks for helping me look for a white A6. It's gotta be a Quattro though. I've had only 1 FWD Audi ('86 Coupe) but I much prefer having Quattro for those times I head to the mountains.
V8... hmmm, I've got to think about it. I'm always willing to have an entertaining car, but the 3.2 FSI motor seems really appealing to me. With Southern California's low-octane (91) fuel and wretched traffic, I'm expecting that everyone else's mileage is going to be better than what I get...

3.2 gets beter mileage....by far.
My friend has a 206 A6 4.2 and he constantly complains about his mileage. I have the 2006 3.2 and we did a one month comparison. I averaged 26.5 combined(14 miles to work back roads/14 miles back on highway). He averaged 22. We have similar driving styles. I think the V8 folks are stretching the numbers to make them feel better. I used to hear the same stretched claim in the Toureg Forum and I had a V8 Toureg....16MPG Average.

Thanks Keifer
My Murano gets about 20 mpg highway, maybe 16 city. So having a vehicle that the family can fit into and get good mileage is important. Thanks for the input!

We will!
Thanks NvrFollo. I spoke with my wife last night and she's pretty adamant about the beige/light birch interior, and we both like the white exterior. (Gets hot in SoCal.) So it looks like White/Beige for us!
