whats involved in headlight R&R ?

Does the bumper need to be moved forward or removed ?

To remove the headlight assembly you will need to remove the bumper. It's simply not worth just moving the bumper into what many consider "service position", just take it off and you'll save yourself a lot of frustration and it'll be FAR easier working on your vehicle.
