Default xcarlink based bluetoorh setup

does anyone uses xcarlink MOST Audi bridge with bluetooth receiver to transmit audio from your phone to the car's stereo? what are your impressions? Any pitfalls? I have the audi's bluetooth phone connection and I still want to use it for phone calls and the xcarlink for the music. Does it work this way?

My CD changer broke (shows "Device Failed") and I want to replace it with something more modern.

Yes you retain your bluetooth phone connection...worth every penny and IMO better than AMI since you control your music form your phone (fast forwarding/selecting, etc. is much easier).
