2012 A7 EPC Issue - Continuing after 6 attempted repairs
I have a 2012 A7 (94,000 miles) that has had the EPC light and Do Not Exceed 4000 RMP warning happen 6+ times since August 2018. Local dealer has tried multiple times to fix this issue while the car was in warranty.
1 - ECU Replaced
2 - CAM Sensor and Intake Flap Noted. ECM Updated
3 - Found intake runner not opening/closing
4 - Excessive Resistance in G28 Wiring Harness
5 - ECM Power Supply Relay, Engine Component Power Supply Relay, Crankshaft Speed Sensor Faulty
6- Fuel Pressure Sensors Faulty Shorting Engine Component Supply
Car is now out of warranty and the issue continues to happen. Most recently, Technical Assistance suggestion was " Wire Overlay between ACU and the intake flap-under the intake - different than before" I am hesitant to start paying for this myself as it seems the previous "corrections" never fixed the underlying issue. Has anyone had this EPC issue happen this often? What were the outcomes if you have had this happen? Any suggestion on an approach to take with the dealer?

I have had the same issue, but when I've had the car idling for 20-30 mins, all of a sudden the car just starts idling rough and then I put it it drive and boom EPC light kicks in and it goes into limp mode.
last time it was in the shop they replaced, coil packs, spark plugs and fuel injectors. it was working mint until tonight when I had the car sitting idle for almost 30 mins
Im super disappointed and let down at this point, feeling defeated
