Finally getting around to posting pics of my add on sub project. I had a local shop add a JL Audio XD 600 amp with a custom removable enclosure containing a 10" JL Audio sub. Per the pics below, the enclosure is downward throwing, designed to fit into the contour behind the rear seat. Also added an active line converter and a remote **** installed near the driver seat controls.

Being a part time musician, I totally enjoy the tight / contained kick the sub adds to my music, nicely balanced with the Bose system. (especially when combined with the enhanced sonic headroom and enhanced door speaker bass as part of the 0715 MMI update) It's not a rap-mobile rumble. Just dialed in the way I like to hear it during a live performance. Tight-hitting square in the chest (can ya tell I'm a drummer?) I also like the convenience of having the 60% side of the flip down seats available when I need it. Or removing it all together to haul my gear.
