I had replace the Bose factory sub in my car, the bass sucked so bad. So I brought a new sub JL Audio 12w6 with 2 JL audio 1000/1 amps and I truly regret it in a way. After tweaking the amp to zero bass at all I finally got that perfect sound. Sounds truly amazing like a concert in my car.
I carry at least one if not two golf bags plus a number of other bags for work in mine and I can't see you being able to one bag in there with that speaker box.

I am going to get the sub installed on the side rear of trunk panels. I do love trunk space and miss it
