Audi Care Select value?
My 2014 A7 TDI is coming up on its 55,000 service. I purchased Audi Care when I got the car originally and have used it without issue. I'm wondering now if it is a better value to purchase the Audi Care Select package 3 to cover the 55 & 65,000 services. I am still thoroughly enjoying the car and have no plans to sell / replace it. Curious to know if anyone else out there went the Select route or has any guidance on cost of the 55k 65k services vs the pre-paid route. I originally purchased the base Audi Care via FD-Warranty and have a quote request in for Select through them as well.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Haven't personally purchased Audi Care Select, but have started to do research as I just purchased a pre-owned A7.
General consensus on scheduled maintenance plans (for all vehicles) on Google search results is that they are NOT a good deal. And that you are better off shopping for quotes, negotiating pricing and doing things on your own schedule.
However, I was surprised to see that many members of AudiWorld are pleased with the savings on Audi Care Select. I guess the 55k service alone can be $1k+ a la carte at the dealership, so you'll be saving on any subsequent service checkups if your quoted around the $1100-$1200 mark.

I don't have experience with TDI, but my gut instinct is to recommend getting regular service with a diesel engine. Then again, I'm not really a car guy.

I bought the four year Audi Care with my 2016 because I plan to have all my maintenance done at my local dealership, and I like the idea of paying up front so I don't have to worry about hourly labor increases etc. in the future. Seem like a wise decision at the time.

I purchased the Audi Care Select for my A7 for $769 for the 55k and 65k maintenance. They just finished my 65k maintenance. As noted above, going a la carte will be significantly more if all service performed at the dealer. With that said, I will not be purchasing the next package as I don't plan to have it for more than another year. I'm not sure if the overall value is worth it if you get the same maintenance done at a local shop.

Thanks all! Gary - I'm pretty much mentally in the camp you seem to be in. I will have it for at least another year but doubtful beyond that. So leaning to the 55/65 pre-paid b/c I know the TDIs run a bit higher on the maintenance costs.
