Default Beat this... 34.5 MPG.

I quickly became addicted to the speed of my A7 and driving more aggressive driving. Wow. I mean, Audi built the A7 for a reason, right? To be driven. A good MPG was 22/23 Mpg and I really didn't focus on it because I was having fun.

I was driving with my boss in the car one day, much less aggressive, and noticed the MPG got to 27 then 28 MPG. It was a first I'd actually got this high MPG since I had the car. I was moving with traffic and not passing traffic.
Since then, I've actually calmed down in my driving, to see how high the MPG can go. The highest I've gotten to is 34.5 MPG. Has anyone beaten that. I was driving with my wife and so impressed at the 34.5, I asked my wife to take a picture of the reading with her cell.

Is my fuel consumption reading wrong, or have others gotten this MPG too?

I broke my car in in 4 days. Picked it up on my hour break on a we'd night and prior to my drive back from Miami to PA on sat morning and arriving to PA at 3am sun, it had about 70 miles on it. Once in PA it was@ 1580. FL driving was pure city and drive back home was from boca to Richmond va was at 75-77.5mph and remainder was between 60-67.5 except for the last 15 miles of the trip. I got 30.0 mpg. Not bad. Since my first test drive, I realized this car is beyond my driving skills and I'm no slouch. About the only time I push it is for passing and highway entrances.

My Commute to work is about 14 miles one way, on Back Country, two lane roads. Mostly 45 mph speed zones, and just three lighted intersections to go through. There is some stop and go, for the occasional person taking a left turn into a neighborhood, and there is enough traffic where you really can't get ahead of anyone but not enough to say there is a lot of traffic.

I average about 29 to 31 miles a gallon according to my car. I do have it tuned with GIAC, not sure if that has helped or not. On My days off, going in and around town all day, its a lot less. Probably around 19 to 21.

You guys need a diesel... I drive mainly on motorways (highways in the US), 35 miles each way to work and back, of which ~5 miles is local roads.

I get about 50MPG (between 48 to 53MPG depending on how I drive on the motorway)

When I bought my car I was getting 38ish MPG, but with the car broken in and chipped, its getting a lot better now

I have seen as high as 37+ mpg estimates on the car computer on a 140 mile run in Colorado, but I know it reads high. On all-highway driving full tanks, the best I have been able to achieve so far is 32.6 mpg calculated from miles/gallons. I record all tanks.

No, that would be Imperial gallons, which are about 20% larger (which gives more commensurately more miles per gallon).

You mean there's a speed limit on FL's version of the Indy Brickyard? On my frequent trips to Jupiter from Delray, I set the cruise for 75 to 79, and am regularly passed by crotch rockets and rice burner beaters doing 85 or 90, minimum.. Nice wide 5 lanes and perfectly flat roads seem to be the right combination for bad behavior.

I haven't seen 34.5, but close. And I've driven over 600 miles on a single tank which would confirm mileage averaging over 30 mpg on a trip. Going from Indiana to New York down I-80, the mileage read 33.6. Probably need to go a little slower . . . or maybe not.
