I have been looking to drop my Audi A7 Prestige with Sport Suspension but I can't determine which springs to use. I have the 20 inch Sport OEM Rims that came with the Sport Package and Powder Coated them in Color Matched Daytona Grey.
2 Questions:
1) Which springs are best to give a decent drop but not too low?
2) For the stock 20 inch rims, what offset would give a flush look to the car?
I was thinking 10-12mm in the rear and maybe 5mm spacer in the front? Should I go more?
Also, I would hate to rub, but what do you guys think the best setups are?
Thanks guys!

Hi ecko707, I told was deliberating your exact points before I made my move. I can definitely tell you, after measuring my car this morning, that the drop (front and rear) was 3/4ths to 7/8ths with H&R springs. Its been a week and a half since the install and my springs have settled. This is the smallest drop I've heard from other guys in the forum who used H&R, KW and Eibach. H&R advertised a 3/4 drop and it was spot on. For some reason, other folks on this forum who used H&R got a lower drop than I did. However, to my knowledge, all of them had the non-sport suspension. Apparently, the sport suspension doesnt drop as much.
As for the offset for a more aggressive stance, before I put the vossen CV3s on, I used H&R spacers on the front and rear wheels. 10MM in the front, 20MM in the rear. No rubbing. Looked amazing but just wanted concave wheels so I ditched them.
Overall ride degradation after spring install with stock wheels and spacers = 5-10%. With Vossen CV3 and 285/30/20 tires = 15-25%. Definitely rougher with thinner aspect ratio 35 vs 30 makes a difference.
No rubbing on existing setup. Still need to be careful with dips and speed bumps.
Hope this helps.

Dgranz, have anymore information in terms of the installation of the JL sub? Also curious as to how much they charged you for the custom installation.
I don't know a whole lot about audio but the base is pretty weak in the A7 and was hoping to alter that without losing the trunk space.

marchetta070, all they did was build a fiberglass enclosure in the right rear cubby hole. However, they did have to quite creative with the construct of it. Should have snapped a few pics but any good stereo shop can recreate this if they know what they are doing. JL amp went were the old sub was. Cost: $1500
