Default CRC intake/turbo cleaner

Going to use CRC cleaner to help clean the intake. I’m not sure which vacuum line would be the best to use. I have a 2012 A7 3.0t. A picture of the line and it’s location would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Just pull of the air filter hose, and spray straight into the air intake. Remember to keep it at 2000 rpm and that the car will struggle so be gentle with the spray.

There's also a vacuum port on the firewall side of the intake tube just before the throttle body. You could pull off and cap the vacuum tube going to that port, and then spray the CRC cleaner into that open port. (You may need to add a short hose to that vacuum port to spray into, as it's pretty close to the firewall). You could also plug the port on the intake tube and spray into the vacuum hose. Either way will get the CRC cleaner into your engine.

Im looking for a way to bypass the supercharger... so If I spray directly into that vacuum line, it will go straight to engine without passing through the supercharger?

Anything after the supercharger will be under pressure, not vacuum. Any vacuum will be ahead of the supercharger.

The supercharger creates positive pressure.

Default How did the CRC work for you

HI - I have a 2012 A7. I keep getting an error message for secondary air (P0492) I'm wondering could I use this to clean the carbon. If anyone had results.
