Default Eibach Lowering Springs

Hey guys, I'm looking into putting Eibachs on my non-sport prestige for the purpose of better performance and of course, looks. I have read that the ride is softer than going with coil-overs, so I definitely want springs. Also, Eibachs supposedly don't sit as low as H & R's... about 1.2" vs 1.8" from my research, which is more suitable to my aesthetic taste.

Question: are these manufacturer's approx drop rates after settling or before settling?

And any other feedback on Eibachs is appreciated. Thanks

According to Eibach, the front lowers 1.0 and the rear 0.8 inches. They will settle a little more after installation. This must be a new application. I would have gone with Eibach as well, if I had a choice. But I don't have any complaints for my H&R because I never had a problem with my previous application.

How's the ride on the H & R's compared to factory? Any rubbing or scrapes?

Ride is perfect. Not harsh, at all, what-so-ever. I would stay it's about 10-15% stiffer than stock non-sport version. The front will not clear most parking concrete stoppers so one has to be careful. If you are going too fast on a big bump you will scrape for sure. Since my previous car was lowered, I have not scraped my A7, yet.
