How Current Are The Nav Maps?
As I'm getting ready to pick up my Phantom Black Prestige tomorrow (psyched!!) and turning in my 2012 Q5 (thank GOD!!).
My 2012 Q5 was delivered with three year old maps..yes, THREE YEARS OLD! If you swing by the Q5 forum you will see a thread that's like 5,000 pages long of all the Q5 owners bitching, rightfully I might add, about getting brand new Q5 with appallingly out of date maps. Some model year Q5's have even shipped with maps almost five years old. I have major roads near me that have been in operation for two years or more and they don't show up in my Q5 Nav, super frustrating.
Anyway, it got me thinking: How old are the maps in your A7? Hopefully, as the A7 has an updated MMI and now has the Google map function, Audi and Navteq saw fit to install current versions of the map database in the A7. Would be good to hear from everyone as to what version they're running.
Fingers crossed!
