I sure hope I love this color as much as I think I will. The other choice was Quartz Gray, and I thought the Dakota would look better with the beige interior. We'll see in a few months...

Congratulations. My wife just commented a week after our test drive she could not find
a complaint. She says some cars are difficult to reach for closing the doors. She likes that the screen can be put away. She approved of clicking sounds from turn signals and that you can turn off functions like automatic door locks or other intrusions.

Should know next week delivery timeline, but dealer is thinking July/Aug.
Also of interest is that the brochure says that shift paddles only come with the sport packages, but the website says that shift paddles are part of Cold package. I contacted AoA and they confirmed that shift paddles are part of the cold weather package.
I had Daytona gray on my '08 A6 and loved the color. Its dark, but easier to keep clean than Black. I was torn between Daytona and Oolong, but went with what I knew.

Surprising they don't get better samples. If you are looking for a carpet that costs 1/70 of the car, no problem. But here it's guess work.

The oolong is a bit weird when the sunlight hits it and I'm not that big of a fan of it. It's almost like a color that can decide what it wants to be and changes a bit too much for my tastes.
I'd do Daytona / Black over oolong as well.

I will never buy another Mercedes after several miserable experiences. As for BMW's, nice driving cars but the styling has been dreadful for years. And they are everywhere. I like having the only S5 Cab in my area. I assume there won't be many A7s either.
Having said all that, I am not real happy about the lack of a fifth seat. I hope I don't regret this decision as we do have three kids, although two of them are old enough for their own cars.

The dealer brought a TT over in Oolong Gray. We liked the color, but it didn't grab us. The '08 A6 we had with Daytona Gray was a color that always made me smile when walking toward the car.
They had a Havana Black A7 in the showroom and its drop-dead gorgeous. I just couldn't do a <nearly> black car again, but its a stunner.

At persent there are 5 colours which I think look brilliant on either the A6 or A7.
Phantom Black
Dakota Grey
Havana Black
Ice Silver
Ibis White
But at the moment the only one I have my eye on is Havana Black.
