radio volume

Default radio volume
WhenIi get in my car on start up the radio is at a very low volume, not the same as when I left the car.
Is there a start up setting for radio volume?

In another thread (maybe another forum) someone stated that it was because the volume is too high when the car is turned off. It starts up lower to protect hearing. I haven't verified, but would make sense.

That is the normal, programmed functionality of the system. It will default to a fairly low level (around 8-10, I can't remember the exact number) when the car is restarted. This is a safety measure....

Mine frequently defaults to "0" volume and there is no consistency. It's one of the great mysterys of Audi's highly touted MMI system.
