I think thats on the high side for 'starting at'. But optioned out around 90k is probably reasonable.
Curious about the two exclusive colors - crystal effects - will be interesting to see if those are ridiculously priced colors or if they will be a reasonable priced option (In the UK a S3 can be optioned with the Estoril Blue Crystal Effect for a 750 uk pound upcharge - where on the S5 there were about 7 exclusive colors that were brutally expensive - I can see it going either way.)
Also see mention of a layered beaufort oak - which I wonder if that was the original nautical looking inlays that were in the rollout A7 in europe early on.

Don't see them pitcing it at $10K more than a decently loaded CLS550. Based on the info provided the S7 and the CLS550 have very similar performance. That said if the S6 is $10K cheaper than the S7 I think that will be the car that sells best.

Maybe, but with a simple flash, this engine should be able to match or surpass the S8's 520 HP. I assume the engines are the same, just turned up turbos on the S8. I'll be interested to see where pricing lands. That will decide A7 vs S7 for me.
