TPMS
If say the right-front tire is low, due to decreased circumference it will spin faster than the left-front tire. The ABS system will recognize this change and alert the driver.
For the system to function correctly, the tires have to be inflated to the correct pressure and the TPMS reset in the MMI. The system will from there on compare the actual measured value to what it was set to. When the wheels are rotated or replaced, the TPMS needs to be reset.
Audi’s indirect system will keep working just the same, even if you switch to aftermarket wheels or tires.
