Default Window not sealing fully

Hi all,
My driver-side window is not sealing fully, causing significant wind noise. 2012 Prestige. Does anyone know how to adjust the window? The closest thing I found was on an A5 forum which says use a 5mm allen key on the two plugs underneath the door (Wind noise through driver window - Audi A5 Forum & Audi S5 Forum). The A7 has the two plugs, but when I removed could not see anything to tighten with an allen key. Is it possible to raise the window? Thanks!

It may be an electrical problem. The window drops down to the level in the picture when the door is open. It is supposed to move up when the door is closed.

Try opening the window all the way and hold the open button for ten seconds. I remember reading about resetting the window that way. I may have the timing wrong and I'm sure someone will correct me if I have it wrong.

Thank you Tenspeed! The window does move up and down when i open and close the door. It also opens and closes fine. It just seems like it needs to be manually raised a few millimeters to seal.

I was wondering if it dropped down when opening. Try the reset anyway. It's cheap, easy and just might work.

Unfortunately, the reset did not close the gap. I have a feeling it may be just the cable has stretched out over time and is too loose to close the window fully.

I took it to the dealer, and the service manager said the window just needs an adjustment, 2-hours labor. They will have to take door panel off to adjust. Got it scheduled for two weeks later, will let everyone know how it goes. I have not used this dealer before, but Audi South Austin by Hendrick Group gave me good vibes. I was told by another mechanic needed an alignment, but this dealer said the work wasn't necessary, so saved me money.
