The results don't necessarily surprise me, my gross simplification would be that the A8 wheelbase will always help in any situation but tight corners.

If the RS6 setup is understeering badly in tight corners due to the weight up front (which would be exasperated by the shorter wheelbase??) ... hmmm.

Audi S5 TC

Apparently, Audi's RS models will be their only high performance models from here on in. An AW member on the B6 S4 forum named energetics stated that Dr. Martin Winterkorn himself confirmed this at the Geneva Auto Show. I take it that this energetics guy (or woman) on the B6 S4 forum either...1) Lives in Europe, 2) Was lucky enough to fly to Geneva, Switzerland to hear Dr. Winterkorn's confirmation about this, 3) Read it in a magazine or 4) Saw it televised on an Automotive channel like SpeedVision. So I would expect an RS8, not an S8 for 2005. I would like it a whole lot though if energetics gave everyone on AW, regardless of forum, a source or some other kind of proof of this information that he (or she) can provide.
