2000 A8L exhaust the same tube diameter as an S8?
Hello Everybody.
My recently acquired A8L that I'm trying to sort out and keep on the road is in need of the center section of the exhaust system which is NLA seemingly anywhere. That frustration aside, I'm looking into just having the center resonator replaced by an X-Pipe and am curious whether the stuff on the market for S8's are compatible or if the diameter tubing on the S8's is larger that the stock A8 2.25" setup. Any knowledge on this subject would be appreciated. Good idea or no? Will an X-Pipe play well with the stock rear muffler? Looking for a bit more attitude in the tone/exhaust note without getting to far away from the cars intended style.
