Default Re: A-8 S-8

This is official. There is NO mechanical difference between A-8 and S-8 engines, for cars having ABZ engines.

Default ABZ's would be the same

I thought that the original S8 had a 340 HP 32 valve motor, I believe that is not a ABZ engine, but something different.

I do know that there were sport A8's with the S8 suspension, seats, etc.

I've been thinking so much about the chip, Brazil (maybe it's the women?) that I had a dream last night that I flew down to Brazil and met with you and your wife.

However, I woke up before we could drive back to the airport in the twin turbo monster!!! ;-)

Among other things, I owe a tourism agency. Please wait a little, let me see how this year will end, and I might send you a ticket for you to come down here and see us. Will be a honor to have you here. Check you mail. Please confirm your fax number

Default I'll have to post some rpm/mph numbers,

my gearing seems awefully tall. When the car shifts to 5th at 45mph the rpms are like 1600. I need to plot some numbers for sure.

I am in deep yogurt if my tranny fails.

Default Luiz

I got your email with the instructions, but instead of instructions, it was a stock certificate picture....I don't think that will help!

;-)

I replied from my comcast.net account and it bounced back also (even though one looked like it went through this morning).....can you send the directions again?

Sorry to waste the bandwidth here, but I just can't get emails through to you with any of my accounts.

Default Tranny is the same, final drive is different

You'd just have to get your unit rebuilt, and they normally wouldn't touch the gears....yours has the same gearing as the S8 I believe.
