A8 Buyer's Guide Up
I took all of your input and put together a buyer's guide (at least the start).
I would like to make an inspection checklist in PDF version to print out with inspection criteria.
Please review and provide feedback, additional info, anything.
Anybody want to do the checklist? If so, tell me!!! Anybody want to write anything for audipages.com??? Please do, I will post it.
Begining to learn the ins and outs of HTML, at least that's not such a mountain to get over any more. However, I need to do it smarter.

Looks great, Paul!
Two picky points:
1. The rear sunshade switch on the dash is in position #6, not #8. The only A8 that uses switch position #8 is the 3.7L non-quattro- it is for traction control on/off.
2. In order to test the heated seats, someone must be sitting in the seat for the heater to come on- they have weight sensors in the seats.
One thing that you mention/allude to is having an independent Audi mechanic go thoroughly through the vehicle prior to purchase. I would put that up front in bold type- it is well worth the $100-$200 cost.
Another inspection point- the front bumper on these are easy to rip off on a parking block- inspect the front bumper and the under engine shield for excessive scrapes/damage.
Inspect the spare tire- it it there, in good condition, and are all the tools present?
Rear armrest- is the first aid kit in the armrest? Are the cupholders intact?
This is all at first glance- I'll keep thinking about it and update this post if I think of anything.
Great job Paul, and keep up the good work! Thanks!

At some point ...
.
you need to petition AudiWorld.com to include Audipages as a link to an A8/S8 site :-)<ul><li><a href="https://www.audiworld.com/links/other.shtml">AudiWorld.com links to Enthusiast sites</a></li></ul>
