A8 Rear Blind Motor
Can anyone tell me how to access the rear blind motor? The blind is stuck in the up position and
when I try to lower it there is a GRINDING
Sound. It sound like a brocken gear tooth. Can the gear be changed or is a new motor needed?

This is what I found.....

Here is the procedure I found for the Drive disc for motor rear shade, replacing:
Power sunshade for rear glass removed.
Rear window shade motor removed .
Carefully drive rivets on drive gear to bottom using punch.
Install new drive disc with bolt, bearing washer and lock disc.
Component location: Flat position of gear points toward right side of vehicle.
