Default Another post facelift falling victim to the dreaded F Clutch seal :-(

Good news...It's covered under warranty.
Bad news...warranty company won't have the replacement to the dealer for two weeks so I'm Audiless till then :-(

Hey guys, can I get a ride?? I'm already having withdrawls.

Default 94K miles. I checked the tranny for leaks before purchasing at 71K...

Car was fine for the first six months or so then all of the sudden reverse gear was reduced to idle speed only. Any throttle input would result in nothing but engine revs. Fluid and filter changed by dealer before they would admit it was the tranny.

man, that's too bad. It's just luck of the draw. Fluid changes probably wouldn't help in this case.

Default Yes, clean fluid and filter means even more pressure.

Its a faulty part.

So, Tozo - you recommend no fluid and filter change on these trannies?

What I meant was, the fluid/filter change will not prevent F seal failure.
