CV Boot replaced now abs is kicking in at low speed
I had a local shop replace a CV boot for me due to time constraints and now my ABS is kicking on at low speeds. I pulled both from ABS sensors and cleaned them. On closer inspection it looks like they installed a rebuilt axle shaft instead of just the boot or the joint.
My question is that the ribs that the ABS sensor picks up on the new joint look different then the ribs on the OE joint. Do you think that the CV joint is the problem or the sensor. Everything worked fine before the work was done.
Its a 2002 A8L.
Thanks All
Tim
