Finally, my new wheels... :-)

It seemed like an endless search for new wheels, but I think patience has finally paid off. Here is my "new" set of BBS LM's. 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 with Dunlop sp9000's 245f and 275r. :-)

oh my...
I think your wheels cost more than my car! Very nice choice though, I have lusted after those for a looooooong time. Maybe when you're done, you can throw them away in my garage??? 10-20 years from now, I can still wait for them...NICE

Nice wheels!! The BBS look awesome!...Other thoughts...
I have been looking myself and have it narrowed down to the Oettinger RZ's in 19", I believe that is correct, they have two models, one of them goes to 19", (The more expensive ones of course!!)and the 19" are the ones I want. OR the 9 spoke audi RS4 rims....Not to change the subject....the real question here is regarding the wider wheel in the back...while I am not a fan of the larger diameter on back...i.e 18's on front, 19's on back...I do think the wider wheel on back gives the car a great look, although I have never seen it in person.
I love the rear end of our cars, and think it would look good with the wide...what are your thoughts on this everyone? Thanks in advance!
BTW...Larry, great wheels again!!!
Cheers!

You must have misunderstood the sizing...
...my wheels are the same diameter, front and rear. The width is the only thing different 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. I really like the "staggered" look. There is a lot of room on the rear of the A8 and I feel the slightly wider rim/tire combo fills out the wheel well very nicely, with a slightly more aggressive look, and yet fits nicely without that "sticking out" look. I know this setup is controversial with respect to optimal handling, however, I have noticed absolutely no detrimental handling effects.
I'll try to take a few more shots tomorrow and show some more angles etc.

Understood the sizing....
...I don't like the 18's in the front and 19's in the rear( that was just some of my rambling...but I know that you didnt have it that way)...I DO like the way you have it set up...with the WIDER wheel in the back, and the same diameter wheel in front and back.

Actually, the cost is the best part....
I say they are "new" wheels, because I got them on the German ebay. I bought them for about $1800 plus shipping. Even with the outrageous shipping charges (about $400), I think they were still a pretty good deal. They are in perfect condition, and all I had to do was buy a new set of lug nuts on this side of the pond.
That is why I said that my patience paid off. I looked for a long time.
